- Dorothy Louise Baskerville Brown, age 88, passed away on January 26, 2015. She was born on February 12, 1926, and lived in Gallatin, TN, since 1969. Prior to that Dorothy lived in Portland, TN, a short time in Indianapolis, Indiana, and grew up in the Rock Bridge Community where she was a member of the Rock Bridge Church of Christ. She was married to the late Wallace Jefferson Brown in 1947, and had 3 children, by which she is survived: Linda, Wayne and Butch. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Tammi, Nick, Meredith and Grayson; and 7 great grandchildren: Janie, Katie, Carter, Bates, Brodie, Nell and Lilly. She was also preceded in death by her mother and father: Cammie Elizabeth Branham Baskerville and Wade Augustus Baskerville; and 5 siblings: Juanita (Johnny), Lucille, Wade Jr., Virginia and Bobby. She is survived by 4 sisters: Anita, Theda Ray, Peggy and Connie; 3 brothers: James, Billy and Michael, and a multitude of beloved extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers are: Billy Baskerville, Michael Baskerville, Bobby Baskerville Jr. (Rocky), Ray Fleming, Ronnie Whitefield, and Nick Brown. Honorary pallbearer is James Baskerville. Services will be held at Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 12 noon with Reverend Eugene Martino officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28 from 5 to 7 PM and Thursday, January 29 from 11 AM to time of service. She will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland, TN.
