Blaine Perry Tolman, 69, passed away Saturday, May 8, 1999, in the Houston V. A. Hospital, of congestive heart failure.
He was born June 23, 1929 in Murray, Utah, a son of Perry and Delores Allsop Gunderson Tolman. He was raised in Sandy, Utah and was a graduate of Jordan High School. He loved mechanics and working on cars in high school. Blaine joined the Navy in June of 1949 and ended up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He loved Texas so well he made his home there for approximately 40 some odd years. His latter years were in Houston, Texas. He worked as a mechanic all of his life and he loved his work and people he was associated with. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Survived by brothers, Daniel Ray Tolman, Sandy, Utah; Marlon Dean Tolman, Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Patsy (Harvey) Mortenson, Kaysville, Utah. Preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 1999, at 1 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
