Billie L. Pipkin, age 97, of Tyler, Texas peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at home. She was born on April 18, 1920 in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Joseph Franklin and Merle Marguerite Wiggins Millican. She lived in Houston 40 years prior to moving to Tyler 26 years ago. She was a realtor, homemaker and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Claud E. Pipkin Jr., Houston, Robert J. Pipkin, Alba, and Lynn A. Pipkin, Tomball; daughters, Barbara J. Johnston, Tyler, and Gail Murphy, League City; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home ? 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX, 77079.
A Burial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

Stewartsville: James Wiggins, of Poseyville, was brought here for burial Sunday afternoon, the funeral services were conducted by Mr. H. Owen, of New Harmony, at the request of Mr. Wiggins, they being in the same company during the war. Mr. Owen gave a good talk on his military life and praised him most highly as always being faithful and doing cheerfully whatever duty was given him. Mr. Wiggins was born here and spent most of his life at Stewartsville, having only lived in Poseyville tht last few years. He leaves a wife and four children, all married, a son and daughter living in the West could not be here, his son Earnest, of Wilson, Ark., was here for several days before his death. Quite a number attended from New Harmony. The family have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

Mrs. Susan Wiggins, daughter of Daniel and Polly Stuart, was born near Phillipstown, Ill., Dec. 10, 1842, and died April 14, 1928, at 85 years, 4 months and 4 days of age. She was united in marriage to James T. Wiggins April 20, 1965. To this union five children were born, Walter of Alhambra, California; Minnie of Aberdeen, Washington; Ernest of Blytheville, Arkansas; Cora of Stewartsville, Ind., and Lavia, who died in infancy. Besides her children she leaves ten grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren and many other relatives and friends. While Mrs. Wiggins was not a member of any church, her belief was with the Primitve Baptist and she lived an upright Christian life. The funeral services were conducted by Elder Henry J. Gwaltney, in the Methodist church at Stewartsville and interment was in the Stewartsville cemetery.

To this union four children were born as follows: Cora Weaver-deceased, Harry Annable-deceased, Ethel Wiggins, living at Blythville, Arkansas; and Samuel Annable, living near Cypress, Illinois, and with whom Mrs. Annable had made her home for 15 years. She has eighteen grandchildren living.
Sister Annable as she was familiarly known, had been blind for thirty years. About six weeks ago she fell and broke a limb. She was afflicted long, but she suffered uncomplainingly. It does seem that in her case death was a great relief. She had been a devoted member of the Christain Church since early girlhood.
She has left to mourn her departure two brothers, Mr. Jesse Linsay, aged 81, living at Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Mr. John Linsay, aged 75, living at Grayville, Illinois, one son and one daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and relatives.
