  John Wesley Combs, Jr. "Bubba" Our beloved son, father, husband, and friend John Wesley Combs, Jr., age 50, of Spicewood,then Rosanky, passed way unexpectedly Thursday, October 11, 2007. He was born August 17, 1957 in Texas City, Texas. He grew up in Spicewood, Texas. He graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1975. Ater graduation he worked with his father in his construction business to later start his own for 8 years before moving to Buda, Texas, and beginning his career with the City of Austin Water and Wastewater Department in 1989. He married his wife, Theresa E. Combs, in 1977 amd together had seven children. Daughter, Leisa Michelle and her husband Mark Murphy, their children Taylor Nicole, Paige Alexandra, and Ethan Hunter; Son, Bradley Joe; Daughter, Amanda Sue and her husband David Dronet; daughter, Katherine "Kate" Marie and her fiance'Jamey Gage; daughter Ashley Lyn; and daughter, Annette Lea. He is also survived by his parents, John Wesley Combs, Sr.and Marjorie Ailene Thompson Combs; sister, Debbie Bindseil, and her husband Johnnie Bindseil, niece, Jeannie and her husband Chad Hunter, nephew Ricky and his wife Sara and children; brother Charles "Chucky" Combs and many other family and friends. Dad "Bubba" was a kind, loving son, father, husband and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He has left a place in our hearts that can never be filled. Memorial services will be held at the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, October 16. 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. the funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Burial ill follow at Teck Cemetery on RM 620.
