I finally found information on Pearl and her obit mentions Mae PHIPPS. I don't think they had any children but there is an infant at Bedias Baptist born/died in 1942.
Obituary:
Madisonville - Services for Oleta Pearl McDougald, 88, of Bedias, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Madisonville Funeral Home. Rev. James Slocumb will officiate. Burial will be in the Bedias Baptist Cemetery in Bedias. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McDougald died Sunday in Madisonville. She was born in Brazos County. She lived most of her life in Bedias and was a member of the Bedias Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy McDougald. Survivors include a sister, Mae Phipps of Madisonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
