BANGS Vera A. Shepheard, 82, of San Angelo and formerly of Bangs, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, in San Angelo.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bangs First Baptist Church with burial in Bangs Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bangs Funeral Home.
She was born June 26, 1918, in Union Parish, La. She was a retired cashier for Scott and White and a member of Bangs First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Riley Shepheard of San Angelo; her daughter, Jan Ellis of Cartersville, Ill.; a sister, Era Ney of Escalon, Calif.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vera married Raymond Earl SHEPHEARD on 8 Oct 1937. Raymond (son of David Samuel SHEPHEARD and Texanna TUCKER) was born on 20 Feb 1912 in Davilla, Milam, Texas, USA; died on 30 Jan 1984 in , Brown, Texas, USA; was buried on 1 Feb 1984 in Bangs, Brown, Texas, USA. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
