HENDERSON - Services for Geneva Armstrong, 88, of Minden, will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, with the Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Armstrong died July 11, 2008, at a Tyler hospital.
Born August 27, 1919, in Henderson, she was a retired paper carrier for the Henderson Daily News after more than 20 years and was a member of Roquemore Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Pat Casterline and Carolyn Parker; son, Don Porter; and brother, Clyde O. Propes.
