Ray A. Dumesnil, Sr.
Thomas Cemetery, San Augustine
Funeral for Ray A. Dumesnil Sr., 77, of San Augustine will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, San Augustine, with Father Joe Kannampuzha officiating. Burial will be at Thomas Cemetery in San Augustine. Mr. Dumesnil died June 16, 2007, in Lufkin. Born Dec. 12, 1929, in New Orleans, La., he was the son of Claude C. Dumesnil and Eula P. Guilotte Dumesnil. He was a machinist and a U.S. Marine. Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Dell Jessup Dumesnil of San Augustine; his daughters, Susan Oller of Humble and Cheryl Komes of Pearland; his son, Ray Dumesnil Jr.; his stepson, Joe Burrell of Bryan; his sisters, Doris Farrell of Tomball, Claudia Hollinsburg of Navasota, Elizabeth Katchel of Liberty; his brother, Jack Dumesnil of New Caney; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
